Looking for a celebration of Irish and Scottish handball alongside some friendly neighbourly rivalry? Each year, Ireland’s top handball teams face off against the top teams from Scotland in the now-legendary annual competition that is the Celtic Cup.

The Celtic Cup will soon return for 2024/25. This year, the group stage will be held in Ireland on October 19th-20th, 2024. Qualifying teams will then compete in the finals in Scotland on February 22nd-23rd, 2025.

Celtic Cup 2023/24

Last year, Edinburgh Handball took the women’s title, while Livingston Handball claimed the men’s championship. Dublin City Handball and Dublin International Handball also made strong finishes in the men’s division, showing the fierce competition.
