Free Handball Taster Sessions Throughout September: Join Us!

Curious about handball? Looking for a fun way to stay active and make new friends? This September, handball clubs across Ireland are opening their doors to everyone with FREE taster sessions! 

Handball is more than just a sport—it's a great way to stay fit, make friends, and be part of a global community. You don’t need any experience and we welcome all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

So, come along, meet our vibrant community of international players and sports enthusiasts and have a great time!

Taster sessions across Ireland

Here’s a breakdown of the free taster sessions happening throughout the month:

UCC Handball Club (Cork)

Location: Mardyke Walk, Western Rd, Cork

• Tuesday, 17th September: 4-6 pm
• Friday, 20th September: 5-7 pm
  Open to UCC students, staff, and alumni.

Queen’s University Belfast Handball Club

Location: PEC, Queen's University, Belfast

• Kids (Ages 10-14): Friday, 20th September, 5-6 pm (Minor Hall)
• Seniors (Ages 16+): Friday, 20th September, 6-8 pm (Main Hall)

UCD Handball Club (Dublin)

Location: University College Dublin (UCD) Sports Centre, Hall B

• Monday, 9th September: 4:30-6 pm
  Open to UCD students, staff, and alumni.

Astra Handball Club (Dublin)

Location: Ballinteer Community School, Dublin 16

• Tuesday, 10th September: 8-10 pm (Men & Women)
• Thursday, 12th September:
• 7-9 pm (Women)
• 8-10 pm (Men)

Dublin City Handball Club

Location: St. Laurence O'Toole Recreation Centre, Dublin 1

• Thursday, 5th September: 7-9 pm
• Thursday, 12th September: 7-9 pm

How to join

Simply show up on the day with comfortable sportswear and a bottle of water. All equipment will be provided.
